New York Family Court Judge Goes International MARJORY D FIELDS, a retired New York Family Court Judge who returned to practice in 2002, has joined INTERNATIONAL FAMILY LAW CHAMBERS, London, as Special Counsel. Based in New York but contactable direct through IFLC, Justice Fields will be available to see clients in either London or New York, as required.Justice Fields was admitted to the Bar of New York in 1971 and developed a practice as a specialist family law attorney. In 1986 she was appointed a Judge of the Family Court of New York and from 1999 to 2002 sat as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of New York. Justice Fields lectures and writes on family law in the USA and internationally, liaising with foreign lawyers, judges and government agencies. Justice Fields became acquainted with IFLC through her participation in the World Congress on Family Law and the Rights of Children and Youth held in England in September 2001, for which DAVID TRUEX, Head of Chambers at IFLC, chaired the UK Host Committee.
